Graeme Hare is a graduate of Newcastle Music College, where he attained an honours degree in jazz and popular music, Bmus (hons).
He has established himself as a leading performer, drumming and percussion teacher and composer in the north east of England. Graeme has appeared with Laughing Jacks, The Crosby Brothers, Martin Fletcher in M-FUS, Archie Brown, Little Mo, Deacon Jones and the Sinners, Wanted, The Gerry Richardson Trio, Gerry Richardson's Big Idea, Mamma Mischief, The Richard Kain Band, The Watts 'n' Whiffin Big Band, Morgan Le Fay and Chameleon. He has also recently worked with the Paul James band, Eric and the Vikings, The Interventionists and Pop Idol star Aaron Bayley.
Graeme is one of the hard working team of drummers at Northumberland county music service, delivering drum kit lessons and hand drumming lessons to children in schools in and around the Northumberland area. He is also one of two resident teachers at Newcastle drum centre, the other being David Lourie, who has his own very successful teaching practice.
