Latest drum clinic news!

Tuesday April 25th April at Alnwick Playhouse - 7pm. Latin drumming demonstration from Newcastle Drum Centre's Graeme Hare featuring his band the Interventionists. There will also be performances from Northumberland county world drumming ensemble led by Mr Geoff Hutchinson. Plus a very special guest.... Tickets £5.

Newcastle Drum Centre's new drum clinic has been finalised.

Newcastle College, Scotswood Road Campus

Great chance to play with a Pro band.
We keep putting these Interactive Drum Events on, because they're so popular. This one is at the brand new wing at Newcastle College with it's dedicated performance area complete with stage, light rig, PA, the lot.
Our two popular tutors will both be doing a spot. Graeme is featuring Latin rhythms for the drum set, featuring a small band with percussionist. Dave is bringing his trio to do a few tunes.

As it's an interactive event, you will have the opportunity to get up on stage and play with a professional band! There'll also be a raffle with some cool prizes and there'll be plenty of great kit on display. Soft drinks and light refreshments will also be available.
This time we have restricted the number of tickets available to 120. It's simple really - less people there - greater chance that you will be able to play with the band!

Newcastle Drum Centre's Interactive drum clinic held at the 'Metro Radio Arena'.

A big thank you to all of the young students that got on stage and played with our house band. Well done you played great.
We were treated to demonstrations from Dave Lourie, Graeme Hare, and Yamaha drums' very own Simon Edgoose.

Special thanks go to the drum centre team Roy, Christine, Steve, Lou, Danny, Ben and Phill. Also I would like to thank Richard Rutherford (Bass) and Richard Naisbett (Keyboards).

Newcastle Drum Centre's latest interactive drum clinic is happening again. It will be held at the Metro Radio Arena on May 29th. You can get your tickets in the shop or send me an email.

There will be lots going on including demonstrations from myself and David Lourie, and a guest drummer from Yamaha drums.
Then it's your turn. The band are booked. Get on stage, start to play and the band will play along to whatever rhythm you play.

Newcastle Drum Centre's spring exams have been finalised. They will be held at Harton School in South Shields on April 17th. Around 30 students will be taking their Trinity/Guildhall drumming examinations. Their names and results will be posted as soon as I get them.
